Stp. Hafen-Sud

Stp. Hafen-Süd is located at York Hill near Route de Braye. This Strongpoint covered roads at the base of Braye Hill as well as the Crabby and Braye bay visible to the west and east. Inside its perimeter was a battery of 3x 3.7cm Flak guns titled 'Plattenberg'. The site is badly overgrown with brambles and trees but some relics are visible, including the type Wa. Pruef. 514 personnel bunker. Two heavy MG bunkers overlook the quarry with steel doors from the 'Sudeten' defences in Czechoslovakia. Other positions are dotted around the area, some weapons positions are visible. A mortar/Tobruk pit is visible in the field above.
