Dolmen Flak Batterie
Flak Batterie Dolmen is a large 8.8cm Flak Batterie located at L'ancresse (West). The Flak Batterie was manned by Luftwaffe Regiment 292 Β and consisted of 6x 8.8cm Flak Guns, 4x 2cm Flak, Rangefinder & Generator, Command Post, Naval Freya Radar and Tobruk. It is a large installment, all in remarkable condition. All of the six 8.8cm Flak Emplacments were L401's. Generator bunkers are L406 and L405, with a small generator located in the construction below the Freya Radar.Β Near the radar is located an L405
Festung Guernsey has a high level of interest in the site, now offering tours of 3 bunkers located there. A recently excavated L401, the Fortress Command Post and the L403. Some of the L401's are buried below the golf course.
