Kapellendorf Flak Batterie

Kapellendorf was one of the Heavy Flak Batteries located on the island. It is found at Capelles.  It comprised of 6x 8.8cm Field-Mounted Flak Guns. It was manned by Luftwaffe Regiment 292. As well as the 8.8cm's there were also 3x 2cm Flak guns, Würzburg Dora Radar and MG Posts. The site was primarily field positions and very little remains.
