Flak Batterie Kapellendorf

Flak Batterie Kapellendorf 3./ Lw. Flk. Abt. 262

Kapellendorf was established along Route des Capelles, between Les Grandes Capelles Lane and Les Osmonds Lane. It was one of six heavy 8.8cm flak installations on the island, and comprised mostly field emplacements. The entire site, and whatever concrete was poured, was cleared after liberation. There are no remains, say for a checkpoint at the end of Camp du Roi.
