Batterie Rhinozeros (originally Batterie Beaucamps) was established near the King Edward VII hospital, Castel. It comprised 3x 21cm Moerser 18 guns in open emplacements. Similarly to the other 21cm batteries, little remains are visible, except for some shelters in adjacent woodland, command post, and of course the tower. The Helson Estate covers most of the site nowadays. Not to far from here, was an army observation post at Les Touillets that probably provided information to the battery, despite being associated with the HQ site. This was demolished in 1975.
The battery observation post was sited on a laundry chimney opposite the command post. The German construction has been almost entirely removed since.
