Battery Rhinozeros

Batterie Rhinozeros is located near King Edward VII Hospital, Castel. It comprises of 3x 21cm Moerser 18 guns. The site has very few remains, similar to the other 21cm batteries. It has Helston Estate now build over the top of the site, destroying most of the positions. The radio mast at Les Touillets is build near the site of a large observation tower demolished in 1975. The RFO Leitstand bunker survives beneath a house, it used to connect to a tunnel which lead under a road to an observation post ontop of a laundry chimney opposite.
