Overview
Completed as one of the several inland batteries above Vazon Bay, Lux was built to Vf standard and comprised 4x casemates connected by a covered trench. The unique design of the positions allowed the guns to be moved out into fields for a better field of fire.
Post war, houses were built above the casemates, but the site remains well preserved and only a short section of the trench between two casemates is filled in.
