The 583 Regiment was an infantry regiment controlling the islands South Coast defences. The bunker is one of 4x Regelbau 609s on the island, this being the only one that falls on private land, being in a garden in Route de St. Andre, St Andrew. It is not possible to freely visit this bunker.

Very rare to see such intact piping. It lacks corrosion due to its distance from the ocean.
