Overview
This was one of several similar, lightly armed resistance nests. This one was positioned to defend Fermain Bay and nearby fishing harbour. There are no remains. A local armoured reserve was available on request for this resistance nest.
Purpose
Prevent enemy landings through blockade of Fermain Bay and fishing harbour south of Calais. Defence in conjunction with neighbouring site at Fermain Bay.
