Overview
This resistance nest was established in the centre of Belle Gréve Bay (hence the name). It comprised of a 676 for 4.7cm Pak K36(t), as well as an FT17 turret with machine gun. Nowadays, the turret position is badly damaged from the removal of the metal ring. In contrast, the 676 is one of the best preserved bunkers on Guernsey and now under the care of Festung Guernsey.
Purpose
The site is positioned to defend Belle Grève Bay and the stretch towards St Sampsons Harbour, working in conjunction with Gemäuer and Richardseck.
