Overview
The Victoria Pier resistance nest was located on, unsurprisingly, Victoria Pier. It was relatively small, and one of several resistance nests positioned on the piers of St Peter Port. It has been fully removed post-war. Its defining feature was a small Vf 4.7cm Pak casemate integrated into the seawall.
Purpose
Prevent vessels from entering the harbour entrance and to resist troops approaching from the landward side.
