Overview
Heiligenbucht was a small resistance nest located at Saints Bay Harbour, east of Strongpoint Ikart. Its main armament was a 10.5cm coastal defence casemate gun mounted on an open emplacement. Today its former location is marked by the centre of a gravel turning point. Behind some ammunition cuts into the rockface are still visible
Purpose
Prevent landings from the sea by blocking Saints Bay with artillery barrage. Aid in defence of strongpoint at Icart and resistance nest at La Fosse. Local armoured reserves available.
