Ho.31 is located at Chouet, Vale and was initially planned as a Personnel Shelter. Work commenced in 1942. It was later altered into a small Electricity Generating Station. Completed and in use in 1944. It has been covered by post-war landscaping. Records show that 502 cubic metres of rock was removed at this site. The tunnel is potential marked for partial or complete destruction in the new quarry plan.
In 2011 Festung Guernsey excavated the entrance to Ho.31 and performed a photographic survey. The images are below. Courtesy of Paul Bourgaize, Festung Guernsey.
