Ho.7 is a massive ammunition store that is found at La Vassalerie, St Andrew. Ho.7 is almost completely lined, and is connected by a tunnel to Ho.40. It is open to visitors as part of the German Underground Hospital.
Ho,40 is a large hospital tunnel connected to Ho.7. Together they make up the largest German structure in the Channel Islands. The tunnels have been open for visitors since 1958 and it currently runs in conjunction with Festung Guernsey. No major restoration efforts have been undertaken, so expect possible slippery floors and leaks.
The German Underground Hospital complex is made of the conjoined Ho.40/Ho.7 tunnels. The vast majority of the site is open to the public. In 1973 the complex starred in Clive Rees 'The Blockhouse' movie. Marks from the filming remain on the walls of certain rooms. No major restoration work apart from signage and repainting rooms has been undertaken. The excavation of the site was organised by Organisation Todt slave labourers. In total some 29,823 Square meters of rock was removed from the site during the course of the war. It was never fully completed.

Long passages connect the tunnels together. These have become very damp in the years since the occupation.
