MKB Mirus' third emplacement lies mostly in the grounds of La Hougette Primary School, and is well-preserved. The crew block is owned by a different owner and could not be accessed. The emplacement itself has become an amphitheatre for the school.
The gun pit itself has become an amphitheatre.
Looking up.
Lurking in the undergrowth. Mirus' signature 30cm ventilator array. Each emplacement featured several groups of these arranged in rows of three.
The site was converted in the late 90's.
Two doors provided munitions to the gun, one has been closed but this is now used for the main access.
Or you can enter from here.
The munitions' corridor.
One of the munition rooms.
Looking back.
The marking partly survives.
No open light or smoking.
Munitions came through here.
Markings for the Battle dressing station.
Rails for the ammo trolley inside the ammunition distribution room.
The wall with some nice ductwork visible and part of the track U-turn.
One of the ammo windows.
Amazingly preserved.
Towards the munitions track.
Oil supply room.
And a close up on some gear.
The door was widened to remove the equipment for scrap.
Attention
Enemy listens in!
Wiring, pipes, gas ducts and a gas-door frame all in one!
Room for water-supply with the tank foundations.
A nice duct.
Engine room 2.
With the chute.
Light switch remains.
Heading down to the crew corridor, it's closed. The mannequin is from a Halloween event.
My favourite room of the emplacements.
Engine room 01. So much equipment was mounted here.
A perfect flange. Each room had its own gas-seal.
The ducts at Mirus are enormous.
The heating plant.
It is completely stripped but has some nice details.
As far as you can get along the crew corridor. The outline of the telephone is clearly visible.
A floral fresco covered by the stencil.
Left the crew corridor, we can go even deeper into the bunker here.
Covering the walls.
Sinks went here.
Nothing much left of the toilet and shower.
NCOs room
Alcove, piping and duct connector.
Perfect shower.
Interesting detail.
Toilet room.
With sinks and mirrors.
This valve still turns!
Drainage for the sinks.
Intact wooden door-frame.
More well-preserved leaf print.
Here with a perfect light too.
Another array of 30cm ventilators at the base of the crew entrance.

Looking up.
Glittur is still here.. Good luck getting it moving.
This site is the best preserved of the 4 emplacements.
Better than the other text.
The unaltered munitions room.
A very common stencil on all 'Fortress' bunkers.
We pass this on our way out. You can see into Engine Room 2.
And this nice piece.
The outside of this entrance is buried.
This has a lot of information. The L is unusual, it means that this corridor was not gas proof but was bombproof.
One last look.
Heading out into the emplacement.
The walkway around the top of the emplacement.
Big ventilator.
