Flak Batterie Rabenstein

Flak Batterie Rabenstein 6./ Lw. Flk. Abt. 262

Rabenstein was established in the area inland of the Corbiere headland, along Rue des Laurens. By the time construction ceased in 1944, it was part way through being converted to a fortress standard position like Batterie Dolmen. However, it was never fully completed by the time the Organisation Todt withdrew from the island, and is a mix of Vf and fortress standard positions. Post war, development covered most of the site, although much remains in private gardens, and the L407 can be seen from the road.
