Overview
Positioned on the south coast of the island, between Les Tielles and La Corbiere resistance nests this position was one of the more substantial 'Küstenstellung'. It was named after the nearby 8.8cm flak battery 'Rabenstein'. All works were to field order and there are no remains. The site also had control over the roll bombs and pull ignition mines, which numbered some 69 in the area.
Purpose
Provide barrage fire using MG and light mortar covering Toulette Bay towards the area south of Les Ecrilleurs.
