Artillerie Kommandant (HKAR 1265)
The ARKO HKAR 1265 bunker is located at Stp. Tannenberg, La Cobiniere, Oberlands. It is part of a complex of 4 fortress standard command and communication bunkers located here. The bunker connects to the Festung Kommandant bunker by an underground tunnel extending from its northern face. This bunker in particular is a Regelbau 609. This type of bunker has two floors. Four in total were constructed on the island.
The bunker was the headquaters of Artillerie Kommandant for HKAR 1265, who manned all the Army Coastal Batteries on the island. In more recent years it has become the headquaters of Civil Defense, along with the Fest. Kommandant bunker it is connected too.Β
