Overview
Krevelberg was constructed at the Mont Crevelt fort, being built around the existing Loophole Tower. The site spreads as far as the pier on the opposite side of the harbour entrance. Works here were a mix of Fortress standard as well as Vf bunkers. The site survives almost completely intact and exposed, but some light constructions have been removed and the Zundtisch bunker has been modified post-war.
Purpose
To defend the stretch of coast between Richardseck and Talfeste, as well as focus defence efforts on the entrance to St Sampsons Harbour.
