Anderschloss (Georgesfeste) Strongpoint

Radar station 'Anderschoss' is a heavy radar station located at Fort George. The site is the only heavy radar station purpose built for radars, despite radar positions being found around the island inside various other installations. Some sources name the site here as 'Stp. Georgesfeste' but this may be a confusion with the battery located nearby.

The site comprises of mainly field positions, with the only fortress construction being a large Dezimetergarat communications bunker, now in the grounds of a house. The site also comprises of two large tunnels, both of which survive in some state. The site was demolished during development in the 1970s.
