Flak Batterie Heilingenberg

Flak Batterie Heilingenberg 4./ Lw. Flk. Abt. 262

Heilingenberg was established at Rue des Hougues, above Vazon. The location of the battery gave it a good line of sight over the bay, and it could aid inland batteries including Barbara, Gneisenau and Flak Batt. Gabelsberg in engaging sea targets, while also having the ability to operate in an anti aircraft capacity. It was likely very similar to Kapellendorf in terms of its construction, and there are no remains visible today.
