Langenberg Strongpoint

Stp. Langenberg defends the headland between L'Eree and Perelle. Large Strongpoint comprising of RFO Shelters, Emplacments, Tunnels and MP2. Designed to aid neighbouring Resistance Nests; Wn. Felskuppe, Wn. Ehren, Wn. Grune Dune, Wn. Perleberg. Protected Navy Batterie Mirus and Army Coastal Batterie Radetzsky from beach landings. Most of the remains fall on private land, around Fort Saumarez.
